The Destination Wedding Experience

This beautiful August wedding day began with Andrea having her hair and makeup styled at Eva's salon, followed by a quick photoshoot. The mild temperatures and sunny skies provided the perfect conditions for stunning photos. After the salon, Andrea traveled to Flåm to see Jon for the first time that day. It was a truly magical and touching moment when Jon saw his bride-to-be in her wedding dress. After another brief photoshoot, it was time to make their way to the mountaintop ceremony venue, where all the guests were waiting.

The 15-minute hike up to the ceremony location, overlooking the Aurlandsfjord, was well worth the effort. Family and friends gathered around Andrea and Jon as Eva officiated their symbolic celebration. Jon and Andrea exchanged heartfelt vows, said "I do," exchanged rings, and shared their first kiss as husband and wife.

Following the ceremony, champagne and cake were served. Everyone raised their glasses to toast the newlyweds, and Andrea and Jon cut their wedding cake with a Viking sword. After enjoying the cake, guests were treated to a Fjord Charcuterie BBQ lunch, accompanied by drinks and relaxation in a nearby mountain cabin. Later in the evening, Andrea, Jon, and their guests enjoyed a delicious rustic dinner in a charming fjord barn, complete with traditional Norse drinking horns for celebratory toasts.
